Saugeen Shores taxpayers shelled out almost $251,000 in civic per diems and expenses in 2020.
The report was presented to Committee of the Whole on March 22nd without comment.
Mayor Luke Charbonneau led the way with an expense of just under $40,000, followed by Deputy Mayor Don Matheson at just under $26,000.
Vice Deputy Mayor Mike Myatt had per diems and expenses totaling just over $23,000.
All other councillors were in the $20,000-to-$22,000 range.
Several private citizens, as well, received some compensation for their service on boards such as the Police Services Board and Committee of Adjustment.
