A single vehicle collision in West Grey on Monday has resulted in the death of a young Kitchener man.
West Grey Police say at around 9 p.m., they, along with West Grey Fire Services as well as Wellington and Grey County Paramedics responded to a crash on Baseline Rd., at the intersection of Road 35.
Police say the driver of the vehicle was brought from the scene by paramedics to the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest.
The 21-year-old man was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Members of the OPP Technical Traffic Investigations Team attended and assisted West Grey Police with the investigation.
Police are continuing to investigate this collision and any witnesses are asked to contact West Grey Police at 519-369-3046.
Baseline Rd. at Road 35 was closed for a time and has since reopened.
