It appears Brockton is recovering nicely in the building department from last year’s initial Covid-19 pandemic hit.
In a report presented to Brockton council recently, Chief Building Official Dieter Weltz says to the end of April, over $96,000 worth of building permits have been issued, representing a project value of over 13.5-million-dollars.
Compared to the same time-frame in 2020, there was only $46,000 worth of permits representing a project value of just under 5-million-dollars
In both years, it was the month of March that was the busiest for permits and project value.
