The Grey Bruce Health Unit reported one new Covid case in the region on Monday.
According to Public Health, a resident of Saugeen Shores tested positive.
With two previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load goes down to 21. No area residents are currently hospitalized.
Public Health says there are also five people from other health units transferred to local intensive care units in the area.
Seven Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 107,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Friday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
