Provincial Police are looking for assistance in locating a 43-year-old South Bruce Peninsula man reported missing.
South Bruce OPP say Daniel Young was last seen at about 11:30 a.m. on June 19 at Lobies Park in Walkerton. Police say they received a missing person report at 5:23 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22.
Police describe Young as 5-foot-9 tall, with a thin build, brown/grey hair and a scruffy brown/grey beard. He was last seen wearing a bright orange t-shirt, brown shorts and camouflage rubber boots.
OPP say he has a yellow and orange canoe, life jacket, tent, sleeping bag and fishing equipment for a Saugeen River run from Walkerton to Southampton.
Police say they want to speak with Young to verify his well-being.
