The Grey Bruce Health Unit reports 41 new Covid cases in the region on Saturday.
According to Public Health, 15 residents from Owen Sound, seven from Saugeen First Nations, seven from Meaford, six from South Bruce Peninsula, two from Blue Mountains, two from Hanover, one from Southgate, and one from Georgian Bluffs tested positive.
With 10 previous cases now resolved, the region’s active known case load goes up to 111.
Five Grey Bruce residents are hospitalized locally and two are receiving care outside the region.
Seven Grey Bruce residents have died from the virus over the course of the pandemic.
More than 142,000 Covid vaccine doses have been administered in the region to date.
The testing and case counts data released by the health unit on Friday is reflective of a 24-hour period prior to 11:59 p.m. Saturday.
