The Knights of Columbus made a $ 10,000 cheque presentation to the Canadian Mental Health Association on Wednesday ( June 30th )
The cheque presentation which took place in the Bayshore Broadcasting Parking Lot represented the proceeds from Knights of Columbus Radio BINGO.
The on-air BINGO ( on 560 CFOS ) which has been running for several months has attracted a large number of participants from across the region and far beyond.
In fact, one of the earliest winners was from the North Bay region.
The Canadian Mental Health Association will utilize the money for Youth Mental Health initiatives and programs that have become more important during the era of COVID-19 when youngsters have been isolated and made more vulnerable to loneliness, stress and anxiety.
Knights of Columbus Radio BINGO is held every Wednesday afternoon just after 5 pm.
