The Chief Administrative Officer for the Township of Georgian Bluffs is leaving his role.
A release notes on Sept. 17, CAO Al Meneses will depart as he has accepted another position with a single-tier municipality.
In a statement, Meneses expressed his gratitude for the opportunities Georgian Bluffs has provided him since he assumed the role last year.
Georgian Bluffs council will being taking steps to find a new CAO to lead the township administration.
Mayor Dwight Burley says Meneses tackled large ongoing projects and greatly assisted council in moving the township forward.
“On behalf of Council and staff, I would like to thank Mr. Meneses for his dedication, passion and effort through his time at the Township,” says Burley. “He will be missed by all. We wish him all the best and success in his new role.”
