Join us on Friday, March 3, 2023, for the Grey Bruce Celebrity Hockey Classic and play alongside former NHL greats. This series offers hockey enthusiasts the chance to play with former NHL greats in a two-game tournament, as well as the opportunity to attend an exclusive Sports Celebrity Dinner the evening before.

The Celebrity Hockey Classic Series is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play with NHL greats! You don’t need to be a superstar to participate. Anyone who can skate and wield a stick is welcome. This is your chance to play with friends, family, colleagues, and some of hockey’s greatest players. Have fun and raise money for children and youth with physical disabilities across Ontario. Easter Seals helps kids BE KIDS and your support is integral to our success!

Past players have included Paul Coffey, Wendel Clark, Dennis Maruk, and others.

Tournament Details

Game Day: Friday, March 3, 2023
Arena: The Plex Community Centre, Port Elgin, ON

Date: Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.

Come meet the alumni, browse the silent auction table, put your hand up for one of the amazing live auction items, and enjoy the excitement of the draft selection. Spend the rest of the night getting to know your new NHL teammate!

  • Held at the Lakeshore Centre
  • Appetizers, 3-course meal, and beverages included
  • Sponsorship available for $2,500 with table of 8 included
  • HIGHLIGHT is an NHL Hot Stove hosted by Ken Reid
  • Confirmed guests to date are Wendel Clark, Doug Gilmour, Al Iafrate, and Mike Krushelnyski
  • Teams registered to play in the Hockey Classic will receive a table to the event
  • The highly anticipated Celebrity Draft will take place after the Hot Stove

Registration

Each team must pay a registration fee of $1,500 per team, and fundraise a minimum of $7,000.

There are a limited number of team spots available for this once-in-a-lifetime hockey experience, so get your team registered and start asking your friends to pledge their support!

The Grey Bruce Celebrity Hockey Classic team experience includes:

  • Sports Celebrity Dinner.
  • Personalized team jerseys and socks in corporate colours.
  • NHL Great on your team and in your dressing room sharing their NHL experiences.
  • Two games of hockey.
  • Lunch, snacks, and water provided.
  • Opportunity to play in the All-Star game!
