The 2024 Juno Awards nominations have just been unveiled.

In addition to the nominations, the lineup of performers was also revealed. This includes country singer Josh Ross, singer-songwriter and rapper Karan Aujla, and singer Talk.

Hosting this year’s awards is Nelly Furtado, who will also grace the stage with a performance.

February 2nd to 4th Tim Hortons will have the special donuts available and all the proceeds will help out Special Olympics athletes, locally and across Canada. A delicious way to do your part!

Tim Hortons has been a proud partner of Special Olympics Canada since 2016 – from sponsoring youth programs ActiveStart and FUNdamentals, to sending gift cards to Special Olympics activities across the country, supporting National Games and of course, creating a Special Olympics donut to raise funds and awareness for the movement.

Like Special Olympics, Tim Hortons says it understands the power of inclusion – and its ability to change lives and has hired many individuals with an intellectual disability at restaurants across the country, including many Special Olympics athletes.

The Special Olympics Spring Games are being held in Waterloo from May 23-26.

Here are some of the requirements to qualify:

• All five members of your family must permanently live in Canada
• Families should also hold Canadian citizenship, permanent residency status, or have the authorization to work within the country
• To participate, contestants must be 18 or older as of September 1, 2023.
• No member of your team can have appeared on any edition of Family Feud within the last decade
• If any member of your team is acquainted with or related to an employee of FremantleMedia, Zone 3, or Canadian Broadcast Corporation, you will not be considered eligible to participate.

If you’re all good with that, then you can start the process by creating a video introducing all your team/family members. You will also need a photo and some details to be included on the application form, which you can find HERE. Families from all over Canada are welcome to apply!

Filming is expected to start in September in Toronto. Honestly, just getting to meet Gerry Dee would be pretty darn cool!
