Honestly, this sounds fake, but I am still going to apply!
Aruba is looking to basically give you a free vacation in exchange for your forecast skills.
The tourism board is offering someone the chance to be Aruba’s weatherperson for a week. They will provide you with a free stay at a hotel for 7 days, 6 nights.
Your forecasts will be featured on their social media channels. Pretty sure the forecast would be the same each day…Sunshine and more Sunshine.
Once you’re done providing your forecast you’ll be able to soak up the sun yourself and enjoy some much deserved R&R.
If you’d like to apply, all you have to do is record a 30 second video of you doing a weather report for Aruba. Be creative and make it memorable in order to better your chances of being chosen over what I’m sure will be thousands of applicants.
Oh, and the hotel you’ll be staying at is located across from Eagle Beach, which TripAdvisor ranked as the 1st best beach in the Caribbean and the 2nd best in the world.
To be eligible to apply, the candidate must be over 18 years old and a legal resident of the U.S. or Canada, with certain conditions. Residents of Alaska, Hawaii and Quebec are excluded.
