The 78th Annual Emmy Awards will be held on September 14th, broadcasting on NBC.
Mariska Hargitay, best known as Detective Olivia Benson from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, will be the the host.
SVU is soon to start its 28th season, making it the longest-running primetime live-action drama in TV history.
She will be the 1st woman to host it since Jane Lynch did in 2011.
